Well, with Ryan Gosling quitting acting for the time being, Atlanta folks may want to hop on this. Might be one of your last chances to see the hunk in front of the camera for a while.

You’ve likely heard something about Derek Cianfrance’s follow up to Blue Valentine (trailer’s here if not), which I’m told feature Bradley Cooper’s most subtly great performance yet, as well as another evocative turn from the aforementioned Gosling. It’s a movie I want to see, and I suspect you’d like to as well.

Note from Nick: The soundtrack is by Mike Patton. If that name means anything to you you’ll know why it’s reason enough to see the film.

If you’re in Atlanta- CHUD’s going to make that happen for you.

Our screening will take place on Thursday, April 4th at 7pm. That means you get to see the film (FO FREE) and spend the next day encouraging everyone to go see it that night!

All you have to do is email me here, don’t screw up the subject line (CHUDpines), and make sure your name and address are included.

Good luck!
