We got a (very unsatisfying) taste of Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. in a 30sec teaser- but it did not do justice to the show at all, I think most would agree. The longer-form trailer actually makes it look like a real show, though still pretty much a Clark Gregg-led NCIS type show with a comic book flavor and some Whedon-style quips.
I’ve heard worse ideas for TV shows.
This is going to be a full-on hit, so I hope Whedon and co. crafted it into something fun and sustainable. It would be a shame for this to be the first blemish on Marvel’s record of success since instituting their master plan…
