I have to admit that I’m not a fan of teasers that come a year before a movie’s release that allude to great things but don’t throw one little bone. Christopher Nolan is the master of “you ain’t getting shit”, a concept that works a lot better with stuff like Inception than stuff like Interstellar. It’s not like he has an uphill battle. By the time July rolls around everyone will be aware that their schedule for 2014 has a must-see movie on it. Vague McConaughy isn’t what I personally need. I hope it’s amazing. I’m sure it will be. I mean, I adore Contact. This will likely be bigger and bolder than that. For now, it’s simply way too early but the modus operandi of big films is that you tease it a year in advance. Check!
