Thanks to LatinoReview, we now know that English actor Charlie Cox (Boardwalk Empire,Downton Abbey) will be the MCU’s new Matt Murdock. I’ve never watched Boardwalk Empire or Downton Abbey, so I don’t have any clue who this guy is. Here’s his mopin’ mug, though:
Will he look good in red leather (or yellow, if we’re being nostalgic)? I can’t really see it, but I’ve never been a big fan of the character to begin with, and I’ve never seen the guy act. I’m sure he’ll be fine.
Marvel’s Daredevil will come to Netflix with a 13-episode season. As you may recall Steven S. DeKnight (another cohort of Joss Whedon) has replaced Drew Goddard as showrunner. A premiere date for the show has yet to be announced.
