Apparently this is one of those unmissable films.

Of the people who have walked this Earth, few compare with Hunter S. Thompson when it comes to inspired lunacy, watchability, and actual skill in their craft. The guy was something else and one of very few people who I can legitimately say committed just and awesome suicide.

Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson is apparently the definitive documentary on the man, loaded with rare footage and comprehensive coverage of the man’s body of work taking us from the early days of covering sports [sort of] to the later days where his body pulsed on the ground seeping gunshot sauce.

Amazing.

Folks in Atlanta, we’re pleased to be offering you a chance to see the film with us on June 30th at the Midtown Art Theater and instead of mailing you passed I’d like to hand them to you myself at the theater, because this is undoubtedly going to be a memorable flick and a fun group experience.

So if you’re available on the 30th and want to see this flick [passes are for two people], use the link below and make your stab at it. All I need is your name and a sentence about why you visit CHUD.com. I’ll email the winners of the passes the Friday before the screening.
