For those of you who’ve only just discovered Black Mirror on Netflix, rejoice! The best science-fiction/horror show of the last decade will be back again tomorrow night with a 90-minute Christmas special starring John Hamm, Rafe Spall and Oona Chaplin. Although, if you’re prone to seasonal affective disorder, you may want to save this for a sunnier time in your life. It’s gonna be bleak. The special consists of three stories, one of which features a technology where you can “block” someone in real life. No other show handles this kind of futurism as well as Black Mirror, so hopes are high.
For those of you who don’t live in the UK and don’t get Channel 4, there’s probably an evil, soul rending technology that will allow you to watch this in a day or so at a terrible cost to your humanity.
