With Bob and David

Today brings the announcement of two new shows (and one rumored show) coming to Netflix. They are:

With Bob and David

Four half-hour episodes of this new sketch comedy show from Bob Odenkirk and David Cross will be coming to Netflix. Odenkirk and Cross will write, executive produce, and will be the show’s only regular cast. No word yet on when we’ll see it, but fans of Mr. Show should be over the friggin’ moon.

Montauk

This supernatural drama has received an order for eight hourlong episodes, which will premiere next year. The entire series will be written and directed by twins Matt and Ross Duffer (a.k.a The Duffer Brothers), who recently completed their first feature for Warner Bros. The twins also worked on M. Night Shyamalan’s Wayward Pines miniseries. Montauk takes place in its eponymous Long Island town in 1980, and like many great mysteries, the plot resolves around a child gone missing. Throw in some freaky government experiments and supernatural stuff and you’ve got yourself the makings of a promising eight hours.

Fuller House

As in a sequel to Full House. Yes, the Bob Saget sitcom. According to Variety, Netflix is close to ordering thirteen episodes of this multi-camera sitcom reboot. No one at Warner Bros. or Netflix has confirmed it yet, but already know I won’t be watching it. Not that they’ll care, but I just don’t give a shit about Full House.
