Forget Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight. Forget Bone Tomahawk (which you shouldn’t actually forget. You should go watch it right now). The western of 2015 is undoubtedly Adam Sandler’s The Ridiculous 6. If that trailer isn’t the indication of this year’s Best Picture winner, I don’t what is. Just look at that amazing cast! Vanilla Ice is in this, and he’s playing Mark Twain! When Mr. Ice’s presence is in a film, we’re given cultural milestones like Cool as Ice and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze. I’m sure The Ridiculous 6 will change the course of human history as much as those films did.

But, at the center of it all is Taylor Lautner. Many have mocked the former Twilight star, but they will obviously have to eat a healthy helping of crow once The Ridiculous 6 takes the world by storm. Lautner’s role as the mentally challenged Lil’ Pete will put him in the same stratospheric acting arena as ’70s era Pacino and any era Daniel Day Lewis. Gaze upon the face of your future Best Actor winner:

Move over, Star Wars: The Force AwakensThe Ridiculous 6 has just become the most important and impacting film of 2015. Lucky for that laser-sword kiddie flick, people will be able to bask in the radiance of The Ridiculous 6 for a full week before that piddling toy commercial of a film comes out. I wouldn’t be surprised if people completely forget about The Force Awakens and just stay home that weekend for their fifth viewing of The Ridiculous 6. I know I will be.
