Back in the 90’s when I played Street Fighter II, my friends would so-du-ken the shit out of me with Ken and Ryu, as I played with Chun-Li and her spinning bird kick. She is one of my favorite characters from the Capcom series. So when I had the opportunity to DVR Street Fighter: Legend of Chun Li off Cinemax, I was going to watch it no matter how bad the reviews were. Besides, Kristin Kreuk was starring in this!

And yes it was mostly a steaming pile, but little did I know that yesterday would be Kristin Kreuk night for me. I sat through Street Fighter realizing that KK had some really big legs just like Chun-Li, but her upper body seemed almost skinny, most notably the long neck like Gabrielle Anwar from Burn Notice. She is still pretty, just a little skinny. I actually thought she was pretty good as Chun-Li, and the fight scenes were almost memorable.

I was more pleasantly pleased to see Kristin Kreuk again last night on CHUCK on NBC. I knew she was going to guest star, I just didn’t know it was this week. She looked a lot more attractive on CHUCK, and I think she will be a good distraction for Chuck’s character.  And next week things looks to heat up as she dons the Buy More garb. Talk about a transformation from Chun-Li to CHUCK babe.

If you get a chance, check out the CHUCK thread in the Chud forums. Seems like people have different opinions about Kruek’s role and how it might impact the show.
