There’s a new clip online over at Moviefone for the upcoming sci-fi thriller, Skyline.  The film is directed by The Brothers Strause (AVP: Requiem) and stars Eric Balfour, Scottie Thompson, David Zayas, Donald Faison, Brittany Daniel, Crystal Reed, Neil Hopkins, J. Paul Boehmer, Tanya Newbould, Pam Levin, Phet Mahathongdy, Tony Black.  The synopsis (via IMDB): Strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people
outside like moths to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens
to swallow the entire human population off the face of the Earth.

The clip below is of an alien thing turning a pricey auto into modern art.  To us Angelenos, though, it’s not that big a shock.  After a few choice Roland Emmerich disasters, to say nothing of that whole Dragon War thing and Transformers tussle in downtown, it’s just another typical day in Tinseltown.  The movie looks like it could be some big fun, but there were more disturbing things seen in Falling Down.  It’s like Cuervo Jones said: “This is L.A., vato.  And this fucking city, can kill anyone.”  You think this clip is bad, try getting on the 405 around 4 PM.

Skyline opens on Novmeber 12th.
