I watched the original about 2 months ago after finishing the audio book. Man oh man is it Bad, it is definitely in the so bad it's funny realm. It includes such horrible 80s sci-fi moments as wavy screen flashbacks and whirring noises when someone does something sci-fi-ish.

I think John was mainly taking issue with the grammar/sentence structure. I'm not how one "registers of" something either. And I think it's silly to defend that type of poor writing/editing anywhere, the nature of the property being discussed not withstanding.
P.S. I've never posted here before what the fuck is wrong with the comment submission form??

Well, Kenny, you can delete it from you "favorites" tab, but I can't speak for John's true intentions or what he meant by "delete"….maybe he has power that are heretofore unheard of in the annals(heh) of talkbackerdom. The original movie is pretty well known though, so it isn't such a stretch to scoff at the fact that you are writing for a movie site and haven't even heard of it….

You hadn't "registered of the property"? Really, has this site come down to that level of non-English?

Basically, are you saying that you haven't seen Firestarter, or maybe have read the novel? Both the novel and film are classics (Drew Barrymore's child performances are amongst the best, not just of hers or child-actors, but of anyone).
Are you actually a real author or did your posts just make it on here? If you are the way CHUD is going, then I will have to delete this site.
