Writing Challenge – Day 7: Vacation Hiatus

He creator of this challenge had planned a trip, so he allowed three days off.  But I choose to write today because I need help.  If any of you, dear casual reader or one of my regular three readers, know a solution for this, please help a girl out.

I’m writing this post from my super girly HP Mini 210 VT.  This little creature is great it’s not agreeing with Firefox.     Whenever I’m online, Firefox freezes for a few minutes.  It crashes often.  It consumes too much memory and occasionally kills the cpu.  After installing flashblock and adblock, Firefox has been faster but it still crashes.  I’ve uninstalled unnecessary plugins and add-ons to no avail.

I like Firefox.  Version 5 is great.  I don’t want to stop using it.  It works like a charm with my desktop computer, but it is killing my laptop.

So, if any of you out there knows how to fix these issues or can recommend a good browser that allows to zoom, that is not Chrome (I hate it), and won’t diminish laptop performance, I’ll be eternally grateful.

Song Challenge – Day 7: A song that reminds you of a certain event.

Not much of an event here, for I cannot remember a song that reminds me of an event.  But I guess buying your very first CD with your own money is an important event in the life of a person who needs music more than oxygen.  Problem is, I can’t remember which one it was between U2’s Pop and Prodigy’s The Fat Of The Land.  But I loved them both equally and I still have them.

The Prodigy – Breathe

U2 – Staring At The Sun
