For the next 30 days I’ll torture you with my stupid answer to the writing prompts taken from the 30 Day Writing Challenge and the 30 Day Song Challenge.  Here we go:

Writing Challenge – Day 9:  Vacation Hiatus.

So, yesterday I was walking in downtown Medellin where bootleg movies abound, and to my horror I saw that Captain America: The First Avenger is being sold.  The image to the left of this text is the one being used as the DVD cover.

Let’s be honest:  Bootlegging is never going to end.  Even if the cost of DVDs and Blurays dropped considerably, bootlegs would still exist.  But Captain America hasn’t even come out yet.

This is simply an observation.  It’s not about the very complex issue of the ethics behind buying bootlegs.  That conversation is too messy for this little exercise.  But still, that’s so dodgy…

Song Challenge – Day 9:   A song that you can dance to.

I don’t dance.  By that I mean I don’t engage in social dancing, particularly not the Latin type that involves a lot of grabbing.  Not inappropriate grabbing, but there’s grabbing.  I have taken modern dance and fortunately that’s always been a solo thing.  I have suspended my modern dance studies due to life sucking badly, but every time a listen to this song, I feel like going back to it:
