A grand writing that shows how often a review can be a thousand times more entertaining than an actual movie. And I’ve actually sat through this movie (I recall that it was in a Walmart 2-pack with I Know What You Did Last Summer, which is ok but which also plays like Hitchcock compared to this Lohan piece of shit). Think I was drunk at the time (in the spirit of the Lohan of course) and I’ve rarely howled with laughter during a supposed slasher movie that much before. Again, top marks for this writing.

Thanks, PAJ, I’ve been listening to that for a while actually. I had this piece mostly written when they announced they were covering it. Good thing they didn’t use too many of my own observations, save for the color themes, and the pimp-medical technician — but really those were unavoidable subjects with this debacle.

I strongly suggest checking out the “How Did This Get Made?” podcast with Paul Scheer and a bunch of guest stars. I just found out about it the other day, and I’m listening to their “I Know Who Killed Me” show right now from a few weeks ago.

There were numerous moments that I would call worthy of study, but that scene played and I was literally left reeling. So bizarre it must be seen to be done justice.
