By helping out a bit on the main page a portion of my contract has a clause that I am compelled to do at least one Harrison news item (sorry Nick, but mentioning me in a Harrison caption in your Cowboys and Aliens Blu-Ray review does not count.)

Since there is no Harrison movie news floating around, with the exception of a recent Variety article where the Prodcuers of Ender’s Game have expressed interest in Harrison for the role of Colonel Graff, now it’s as good a time as any to offer readers a rare look at one of Harrison’s previous jobs.

His work as a carpenter is known to everyone, but only a few know of the time he worked as a camera assistant and stage hand for the production of The Doors in concert. Even though you only get a few seconds of the man on film, for a Harrison fan it is still awesome.

The footage is dated May, 1968.

At the 1:50 mark

Here’s a one minute clip of Jim Morrison talking to reporters and Harrison walks by. Don’t worry Harrison you’ll have plenty of reporters in your face one day.
