Even if it wasn’t Alien-related, it’s Ridley Scott’s first sci-fi effort since Blade Runner and that alone would be cause for celebration; not only that but I’d kill to see that Brave New World adaptation he was mulling a few years back happen.

Nonetheless, that imagery (when was the last time we got a poster like that?) and the fact that David Giler and Walter Hill are producers (they’ve been involved with every Alien movie since the original in some capacity) is hard proof that this thing is what we’ve been hoping for all along. Here’s hoping we get an official trailer soon.
