Has anybody even seen a movie called”Nude Nuns with Big Guns”(no its not a porno…but close to it though). I found it on netflix the other night anf thought it was crazy and if you have not seen it but have netflix maybe you should check it out. Itz about nuns and preist selling dope and the nuns are naked while processing the drugs. They do alot of business with the biker gang Los Muertos and it turn into a sex crazed blood bath.

One of the great unknown films of the 80′s. And it does make a great double feature with REPO MAN. Classic non-sequitur humor, knowing references, endlessly quotable bizarre casting choices, a great soundtrack… I’ve been a fan of STRAIGHT TO HELL since it was first released on VHS. Thanks for spreading the good word! Bless the madman that is Alex Cox. :)

It's how she's pregnant. All the characters are really one-dimensional. She's obviously pregnant (although it's only referred to I believe once) and she's constantly annoying. That's pretty much the extent of the character, except that she's also a devious backstabber in the end, but then again most of the characters turn on each other. I think that her motivation throughout most of the movie is that she's pissed off that she's pregnant in this awful situation and she's very annoying about it. And to her credit, she kills it.

I had to laugh… is Courtney Love’s character really “annoyingly pregnant?” Is it annoying that she’s pregnant or is how she’s pregnant annoying? Either way, that phrase needs to be used more. Great flick that’s not very good.

I have not seen it with commentary- that sounds cool. That Cox is enough of an outsider and Love enough of a scumbag that he could comfortably dig on her is great. So many commentary tracks have someone starting to dish a great story and then remembering their Hollywood manners and drawing back: “…it was great working with them…they were really…great.”

I loved this movie. For the longest time I had the soundtrack and listened to all the tunes repeatedly and yet never saw the flick. It was just too hard to find. Then one day at a random Cocksucker Video in Long Beach, I found this is all its sun-bleached glory in the “wild action” section. I loved Repo Man and love this about as much. I wasn’t the biggest Sid & Nancy fan partly because I never liked Sid Vicious nor Spungen, but I appreciate that it tried to tell a dramatic story amid the punk scene. I also dug the documentary on the DVD that digs at Courtney Love who’s always hated this film.

I feel like this movie is up there with Dennis Hopper’s “The Last Movie” as great, incomprehensible ways of spending a lot of studio money and having a lot of fun. I had the pleasure to meet Mr. Cox last year at a screening and I got the impression (purely conjecture on my part) that he was ‘sticking it to” the investors on this one, and just had a long drug hoiiday on set.
