Let the Right One In, a movie that is probably the most serious contender for my best film of the year, opens this weekend in New York in LA. This week you'll finally get my review and my exclusive interview with director Tomas Alfredson, but let's get this week off with a big start by putting some Let the Right One In swag into your hands.I have a cool prize pack to give away to one lucky reader: a theatrical poster signed by Alfredson and a copy of Let Me In, the novel upon which the film is based.
How do you win? Simply drop an email to devin at chud.com with THE RIGHT ONE in the subject line and with your name and mailing address in the body. I'll randomly pick one winner and get it out in the mail ASAP.
If you don't live in New York or LA, you may be getting a chance to see this brilliant film on the big screen in the coming weeks. Click here to see the release pattern for the film and to see if it's coming to your home town.
Let The Right One In is part of Magnet's Six Shooter series of films, with one being released a month. Coming up: the skewed superhero movie Special, the horror film Donkey Punch, the complete goddamn classic Timecrimes, the wacky Big in Japan and the creepy Eden Log.

The book is absolutely great, one of the best books I've read in years and Alfredsson is a solid director so now I'm trying to convince my girlfriend that we should go and see it.
I'm guessing international entries are out of luck, so I won't bother entering the contest.

I got to see this at the Chicago International Film Festival last Friday. The only reason it was on my radar was due to CHUD.com, so thanks. It was a great film.
