I'll agree with many others here. I'm a fan of McAvoy's, but I really hope he drops out before they start production.

Eh. Cooper doesn't really seem the type, but I'm sure he'll be fine. Interestingly, he also read for the Fandral character in Thor. I guess when Marvel wants to work with you, they really want to work with you.

Until we see his lifeless body, I wouldn't count Richard out.

The whole cop thing seems more like a big "Nash Bridges" in-joke than anything else. I'm not too concerned with it since I'm not even sure what the flash-sideways are yet.
