Perhaps he's talking about Aliens and not Alien? If that is the case it still doesn't warrant the phrase "that movie used alot of rain."

He must've meant something else other than rain. I'm trying to figure out what it is. "That movie was dark. That movie used a lot of [Yaphet Kotto's awesomeness]." ? Maybe? That'd fit more than "rain."
