A really nice, sweet woman who was my primary co-teacher for the first 6 months or so of my stay in Korea is being held by the Taliban. She's obviously also quite the hardcore Christian, though I didn't know this until fairly late in my 2 years at that school.
On the one hand, she really is about as gentle and pleasant a person as you'll find; but on the other, what the fuck were they thinking would happen?
I really hope those stupid idiots don't die.
