Oh, fucking great.

If my XMas Chud giftswapper is the least into horror, this'll be in the gift box for sure.

I have the uncut vhs. I'll be more than happy to replace it with this dvd. Been a long time coming. Atmospheric as hell.

I remember seeing this not long after it came out on VHS. Pretty enjoyable flick if I recall; well-done on a low budget.

It's a horror movie all the B-action movie chewers can enjoy. A bunch of army bank robbers with uzis vs some scarecrows.

Never heard of it before but it sounds cool. Now where's DARK NIGHT OF THE SCARECROW on DVD?

Don't know, but if isn't a souped-up SE with a real live retarded person for me to kill, I'll leave it on the shelf for another sucker.

The original tagline was "Trespassers will be violated." Can see why they changed it, I guess.

Seriously, this should be required viewing for anyone interesting in seeing how to make a low-budget thriller.

William Wesley came back around with Route 666 in 2000 or thereabouts - I know most people wrote it off (perhaps correctly), but it had a solid B-movie cast (Lou Diamond Phillips, Dale Midkiff, Alex McCarthur, and Lori Petty as Feds, Steven Williams as a smartass accountant on the run, LQ Jones as the sheriff with a backstory, and Sven-Ole Thorson as a Russian mechanic), and Wesley's solid direction elevated it a bit. I'd like to see him get a little more work.

I'll definitely be picking this one up. The flick's been a favorite of mine since it was released on video way back in '89 or so.

I'm a sucker for atmosphere & this one's got GADS of it. Enough to illicit a couple of nice shivers from this jaded lifelong genre film fanatic. Which is a rare thing indeed.

And it holds up just as well today as it did almost twenty years ago, 'cause I just watched it on HDMovies about six months ago & I was pleased with it just about as much as I was way back when.

Anyone else pick this up? No frills, but I thought the transfer was excellent. Terrific film - should be required viewing for wannabe horror directors.

I have to get this.

Picked the flick up the day after release. As great as I remember it, and it was awesome to finally see it clearly instead of on my old vhs rental copy.

Scarecrows vs. Bank Robbers eh? The one day the robbers fail to use the flame thrower for the hold up and it bites them in the ass.
