They forgot ...
Last Man Standing:The whole fuckin thing

Personally, I'd trade some of these (Grosse Pointe Blank? Boondock Saints? Nikita?) for Miami Vice's climax. Or if this is about looking edgy for some reason, The Replacement Killers' Mira Sorvino's crib or carwash gunfights, Lethal Weapon 3 shootout & chase thru the subway and LA freeways, or Bad Boys 2 jamaican house raid.

And for my money, "shoot the glass", "a sitting duck" and "my wife always buys me two tickets" should also be included there as well. See, I've already turned this into a Guilty Pleasures/ Name Your Fave Movie Shootouts list...

The Grosse Point Blank shoot-out is, I think, really good. But I would like to see Vice on there, too.
It IS good. But its inclusion here reeks of "hey, remember that flick I personally like?"

Still, no Die Hard or Lethal Weapon? I know my "not a shootout an action movie makes" coda well, but these are called action genre classics by more than their car chases and fistfights, wouldn't you say? (and I repeat: "shoot the glass")

And now that we're at it, I know we're on a different timezone, but paging Moltisanti... RoboCop's drug factory massacre is included but no mention of Commando?

What about the shootout at Marion's bar in RAIDERS?

"Shoot them. Shoot them both."

Classic.

Not a CHUD list? Fuck it then.

Actually, some pretty good, if a little safe, choices there. Good to see Heat up in numero uno.

Well you can't make everyone happy with lists like this. Personally I think this masterpiece easily belongs in the top 10.

I love the Combat Roll at the 1:00 mark.

Not so much a shootout as a shooting, but I'll put in my vote for the end of Lipstick (1976). Margaux Hemingway at her most gorgeous, in a floor length red evening gown, a rifle in her hands, just blowing away Chris Sarandon. The gown is swirling out behind her as she just fires and fires and fires till he's this unrecognizable bloody pulp. Kinda awesome.

No Wild Bunch = this list can suck a dick.

The amount of squibs on one person's body still amazes me for that one... Gotta love the detonation wires hanging out of the guys pants when Dolph shoots his legs.

I love the 15 second mark. The only frames Al Leong has in the whole film.
No love for "Meet The Feebles"? Or did they rule out the one-sided affairs?
I've got no problems with the top 10. Maybe the order could be shuffled, but it's a solid top 10 for my money.

The bottom 10? A couple very questionable picks, with the lame "Boondock Saints" being the most egregious turd in this punch bowl.

Holy hell. Al Leong got fucked up.

I'm guessing most of the budget of that film went to squibs.
