My favorite part? Not the general deer-in-the-headlights, 5th grader in the school play behavior of the interviewer. But the part when she plugs that you can find out more information on NBC.com - and then she's faded out by the ABC logo. Brilliant.

I've seen the worst, most repulsive things that the internet has to offer, but it's still these types of uncomfortable on-air moments that make me cringe the most.

Yeah, that was painful. I'm sure once Hunter removed her mic she took out a flask of Jack Daniels and chain smoked about eight Marlboro reds to keep her head from exploding. She gets a medal for her patience.

As for the interviewer, I read somewhere that she's a former Miss Dallas. I think that's all we need to know.

Holy crap that was hilarious. Worth the pain of watching the rest of it. I still prefer Boom Goes the Dynamite though.

You can watch the video on abcnews.go.com. I'm not sure if it ever aired on television or is just an online exclusive. You would think they would have edited out a few of the more awkward bits.

Love how she squints her eyes trying to read at the end. Plus, she got the date wrong, saying June instead of July.

Did she read some pamphlet that says "Compliment the guest after every answer like you were a reporter for the Middle school newspaper"? Cause she nailed it.

Because this involved an humiliation in front of Holly effing Hunter, I think it trumps Boom Goes the Dynamite.

The best part is right near the beginning where she repeats herself, followed by Holly Hunter's look of blank astonishment that this is even happening.

My most gobsmacking TV trainwreck was Bee Gee Robin Gibb's performance on the last Miss World pageant. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, and it only got worse. Specifically, check out 2:20 through to about 3:00, where he completely loses the plot, then just decides to cut his losses and shut up, and just stands there in embarrassed silence while the beat to "Stayin' Alive" pulsates with seething erotic intensity. The agony in the auditorium is palpable.

It's not a scream, it's more of a "WEE-HOOO" of joy. Which implies that there was someone doing flips on a BMX behind the scenes at the studio.
