The one bumper sticker I have on my car says "beige, the cream of the brown". Little trivia for you there.

Whenever I read horrid's posts I hear Jemaine Clement's voice. Makes it at least 12% funnier.

I really hate how UPS will hold your packages until the predicted delivery date even though they are sitting in the warehouse for at least a day.

Is that true? I always considered that one of my wild conspiracy theories.
Well, that's what happened with the 369 I had "repaired".* It looked like the same thing was going to happen with my Amazon purchases this week but I see that they have been dropped off.

*I even went to the UPS distribution facility the day after I saw it was in town to pick it up in person. They said they couldn't turn it over to me.

Maybe that explains The Mystery of the Missing Arrested Development DVDs.

After a lot of soul searching, I've come to the conclusion that I would gladly beat that little kid from the Verizon Fios commercials soundly about the head and torso. Now that's true quam.

Okay, back on topic. In a cage match between George Hickenlooper and a Bengal tiger, the winner is Hickenlooper, hands down!
So is this an official "Posting Out Of Order Appreciation thread" or an unofficial one?
This one is slightly less silly. Slightly.
The posting out of order thread actually had people (excepting one), posting out of order. The idea here was derailments, which should be continuous and spiraling. So the No Topic thread is actually more off-topic than the other, purposefully disjointed one. Which is amusingly fitting, if your mind can handle such dizzying depths of postmodernism.

Drugs help.
But, and this was something I considered posting earlier, is discussing the exact way in which this thread has no topic, in fact on topic, thus resulting in some weird form of meta-recursiveness and the dizzying depths of post-modernism that Schwartz is referring to?

Mr. Nachos, all the cool kids say "re-recursiveness." Ask Mr. Ball. He knows, oh, he knows.

And that's what the Dadaists were counting on.

Now go say negative six "Hail Steve"s and pour this mustard all over your head. Light-Bulb Head Jesus will forgive you all your sins.

Remember the guy who flips out when a little mustard gets poured on him in the Jackass movie? I don't like mustard either, but that guy takes it too far. I thought he was going to kill a dude.

To any Houston Chewers: Is Injuries attorney Jim "The Texas Hammer" Adler still doing those commercials? Is Marvin Zindler still doing his "Slime in the Ice Machine" segments? I haven't lived in Texas since I was in 7th grade, but I miss those guys.

Yes to all of the above, but I think Jim Adler is now "The TOUGH Texas Hammer." Apparently he's developed a mean streak since you left.

Fuck, I got some bad news bro. "Zindler died from the cancer at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in the Texas Medical Center section of Houston on July 29, 2007, two nights after what would turn out to be his final newscast." From Wiki.

Man you miss a few days news and a legend dies. Alas poor Marvin, we knew you so well.

His last broadcast. Jesus, this is almost unbearable. But at least he went out doing what he loved.

"I Love Rock 'n Roll" is a completely different song when you know that Joan Jett is a lesbian. What does she really want with that boy leaning against the record machine?
