BISQUICK MARAUDER, new from The Killing Swarm

Yeah, this one surprised us too.

RIGHT CLICK AND SAVE AS
.

Reeds blow in the breeze as she carries his body through the garden
tears fall on soil once bathed in crimson
she whispers sweet nothings of prayer to the beast once walked on cloven foot
her words find purchase in the coal seeking light
then the brave ones rise to a new beginning
sin becomes virtue
the sun melts the moon
she forms the world anew

Carousel of night we pray to thee
allow our newfound wills to be
devoid of centrifuge
forged in epiphany
carrion is comfort
the womb is spoiled
by the once and future
Bisquick Marauder

They burn everything
from the past they bring
the eyes of the fallen
watch our every move
silenced infidels
sin becomes virtue
the sun melts the moon
forge a world anew

The old ones prosper
as livestock falters
the eyes of the fallen
blind with ignorance
lifeless imbeciles
sin becomes virtue
the sun melts the moon
forms our world renewed

Pretend Diva's ass is in here.

It's fun, quirky, catchy. It's got a (for lack of a better term) medieval feel to it. Sort of reminds me of early Split Enz. I liked it more on the second listen, after it had a bit of time to digest.

I imagine Diva's ass would have more of a baritone, you guys were approaching having to buy me a new set of glassware.

I really like this. Horrid's right about the Medieval feel, but I heard more Queen than anything else. I think it was the harmony.

I thought of Queen too, but I wasn't sure if I was just because they were singing in high voices. Didn't so much sound like Split Enz as had a similar vibe to it I guess.
