I wouldn't touch the NFC for even 50-1.

At 50-1, I'll take the chance that Brady or P. Manning get rolled up on in the first quarter, and whatever NFC East team makes the Super Bowl gets lucky. That's about the only way I see an NFC team even making it competitive this year.

No, but the Rams are playing the Falcons, which should be just like watching two clown cars in a head on collision.

The odds would have to be high enough that my winnings would be enough to reanimate the corpse of Johnny Cochran to spearhead my murder trial when I put a bullet in the head of the each member of the Patriots offense. Probably 2 rounds for Brady.

That's like what... 5,000,000-1?

I bet he continues to run up scores and go for it on fourth down till people shut the fuck up about it. I mean at what point does the press quit crying about it? The teams haven't said too much but the press whines about it like they got their ass handed to them.

Fuckin' Brett Favre. He acts like he can throw game-winning passes like that all night. Amazing.

Who knew the Packers would be 6-1?

You know Green Bay only let the game go to overtime so Favre could pad his stats, right?
Green Bay spent the whole overtime running up the score.

Not that I am some great football prognosticator, but I believe my words after they won the coin toss were "One and done."

Oh yes.

Thanks to Mr. Jennings, I won my pay league game this week.

Thanks to Mr. Jennings, I lost my CHUD game this week.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times...

For me, it's 5-1 for the first bet, and at least 15-1 on the second bet.
First bet would be closer to 10-1 for me. Second bet I could see 15-1.

So it's pretty much the whole NFL (besides the Pats of course) is pulling for an Indianapolis win :-D now thats freaking awesome.

I hear ya. But hey, every loss is one step closer to next season.

Actually I'm hoping for a tie so both perfect seasons are ended.

Mark my words, the Pack will be 13-3 and will go to the Super Bowl.

Since we lost Nov, Dec, and Jan.. I'm just going to re-live Jan 19th... until the draft.

Falcons are apparently offering the head coaching job to Jags DC Mike Smith. Interesting decision. I guess they didn't want to wait 2 more weeks to speak with NY's Spagnuolo.

Mike Alstott rumbles off into the sunset. Since the dawn of free agency, he's only the 18th player to play more than 11 years with only one team. His touchdown run against the Vikings remains one of the most awesome short-yardage runs I've ever seen. Damn shame Gruden never realized how to use him.

With as much abuse as his body took, Mike Alstott is one of those guys I expect to see confined to a wheelchair by the time he's 45.

Yeah, fuck you NFL Hall Of Fame voters.

How could anyone look at Derrick Thomas' accomplishments and go "yeah, I'll elect this other guy over here" THREE TIMES?!

Watch it now. A delivery truck from the Giants shows up with a box containing a football and a note from Eli that says, "Enjoy perfection one more year." Or something like that.

I don't see why people are bugged by the '72 Dolphins. They're usually mentioned once a year around Weeks 6 thru 12. This year it was more often, sure, but it's not like Mercury Morris is an analyst for a sports network and constantly brings up his championship season *cough* Ditka *cough*.

It's a minimal amount of attention given to greatness. Enjoy it, folks.

And it's good to see they had the backup ending. I'd still like to see what they thought they were going to air.

Heh, Nike rejiggered their Leave Nothing campaign in Madden 08:

Was Strahan tackling Craig Nall at Lambeau?

Interesting.

Honestly, I would rather hear about the '72 Dolphins than the Dynasty Pats any day of the week. But then again, the Giants are my team, so whatever.

Jim Zorn, after two weeks as offensive coordinator for the Redskins, gets promoted to head coach.

The Redskins officially don't know what the fuck they're doing.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this, but can you guys help me find some game breakdowns from this past season? Specifically, I'm looking for the games that E. Manning won for the Giants on the last series of downs. Doesn't matter if it's OT or regulation. From what I recall, he had five games that he won on the last drive, right? Where can I find the play-by-play breakdowns of those games?

I checked NFL.com and Fox sports nfl site. I'm sort of worried I'm out of luck on this one.

Any help is appreciated, gents.

Here is a link to the Giants' 2007 schedule. For each result I clicked on the "final" link and then the play by play tab and was able to get the game logs. Hope that's what you meant.
Thanks, Bailey. That's what I was looking for.
