I swear, this sounds just like the backstory behind an MMO. Russia, Canada, Denmark and the US square off over oil and gas buried beneath the arctic circle!

This may be the war folks want. Not some annoying fight against IEDs and insurgents. But subs, destroyers and fighter planes...I can just see CNN embedded now. And we all know what comes next...Mechs! This will be the catalyst we need for the governments of the world to build Mechs. Oooo, maybe Japan can jump in at that time.

I can't wait, this is gonna be awesome.

Awesome until we discover the native voracious ice weasels (who actually secrete the oil) tear our collective faces off. The world will finally have a common enemy. Then peace.

The ice weasels only come at night. This can however, be inconvenient when your snowmobile flips on the frozen tundra, trapping you underneath.

Kinda reminds me of love in some strange way...

In other news, the Russian CNO has announced plans to reestablish a presence in the Eastern Med.

US Naval Aviators breathe a sigh of relief - good deal Med dets aren't going away anytime soon!
