Actual Vanity License Plates You've Seen

Thread Starter
Pulling up to the gym today I noticed the plate on the car in front of my and couldn't stop laughing:

GLG-20.

Now, honest to God I'd just seen SPIES LIKE US the night before, so it's quite possible that the car simply belonged to some douchebag State Dept. type (a dime a dozen around here) and I just had SLU on the brain, but it was funny anyway. I have to think it was a joke.

I once saw a Prius with the plate F OPEC.

knew a girl in high school who drove a blue Ford Probe. Her plate was "Probe me".

Best part is she was on the drill team.

Pardon my stupidity, but I have no idea about the first two. Third one was easy.

F OPEC:
F: short for Fuck
OPEC: the oil/gas producing countries
On a Prius (hybrid = low gas usage)

On a new, red VW bug: "SMIBUG" (as in, 's my bug)
N2B8 (clearly, an anesthesiologist)

I saw USUL last summer. Have a photo of it somewhere, or did.

I saw one that read "KHAAAN". I about drove off the road laughing.

I had a girlfriend in college who changed her license plate to LVMYDAN shortly after we started going out. And shortly after that I ran. Far away.

Guy in high school had his read PARIAH.

He was.

My next door neighbor has "LYF SUX" on his little black sports car. I'd like to beat him mercilessly.

That's a great one. Normally I think vanity plates are a waste of time, but I like that one.

A friend of mine's numberplate reads CHXDGT...

And they do.

Two Friends of mine:

AU DIGR

PB FOOT

For those not clever enough to recognize the Periodic Table of Elements entries:

AU DIGR = GOLD DIGGER
PB FOOT = LEAD FOOT

Saw one that said "COGIT8". Always liked that one.

Someone on my block used to have a yellow Esperanto decked out with all kinds of Simpsons paraphernalia with a plate that read BRTMBL.

Took this the other day:

No clue what the hell COGIT8 and USUL mean. KHAAAN is greatness though.
"Usul" was Paul's Fremen name from "Dune".
I've seen a VW Beetle with the license plate, "FEATURE".

"Cogit8" = "Cogitate", a fancy word for "think". I take it this fellow was suggesting same to his fellow drivers.

Now that I think of it, I have a law school buddy who graduated from The Citadel, and has "CTDL92".

There's a black pickup I see around with "IH8MYX."

My X-Files loving friend just got an "X-Phile" plate.

Saw a tricked-out Chevy Cavalier from North Carolina the other day with the plate "SHIZNITT." The driver was so white he made me look like Biggie in comparison.
I saw a big white Lincoln Towncar with the plate 4MASTER. Now, there is an upscale area where I live called Foremaster Ridge, named after the developer. The old dude driving could have been that developer. But I like to think the car was a gift from his slaves.

I've seen two different OBIWANs in my life. That should not have happened to a guy who travels as infrequently as I do.
Saw a brand-new Corvette with "12 INCHES" on the plate. As if the Corvette is not compensating enough....

'Cogitate' seems obvious. Usul, for the unlettered, means 'The strength of the base of the pillar' in Fremen.

I considered HLFVRLN, but vanity plates aren't really me.
