Cheney explains why invading Iraq is such a bad idea

"9/11!!!!"

I saw this video on Youtube, and literally one out of every two comments goes: "Times change. We were attacked. We had to fight back." The fucking severity of the sheep problem in this country is startling. They've bought the Bush lie about the 9/11-Iraq connection look-line-and-sinker, even years later when Bush himself has said there is no connection.

This video just further supports the theory that the neo-con's primary intent with Iraq was to create a chaotic situation, a situation that they knew full well the U.S. Army was not capable of handling. This has been the pretext for the greatest privatization of the military in U.S. history. Privatization, privatization, privatization. It's a scary world we're now living in.

What the hell happened to that Cheney? This is the first time I've heard him being logical and making sense in an interview.

Amazing. I've never seen this video before but then when it came on I was in the 5th grade. I find it interesting that for someone who pretty much was for the war to begin with he was so against it 8 years before 9-11. I think the reason for this change is pure and simple, money. The cash gained by contractors, weapons and airplane manufacturers are in astronomical amounts because of people who never learned of the past. Cheney however knew of this, and used fear to drive people into war. Now with casualties insanly above original Gulf War numbers and parents who want their children home how is the problem being solved? Extortion, more money for lives. Indeed money claims everyone for everything.

Yeah, I saw this the other day and was pretty amazed at how 100% opposite everything Cheney says now is compared to then.
