I'm curious about just how much negative rep one Chewer can take.
Can you max out the red boxes? Let's select one chewer to carpet bomb with neg reps. I've narrowed it down to three choices. Vote today and the chewer with the most votes by 8:00 a.m. Eastern time will take it in the chin.

To echo Death Surge, why start from scratch (relatively speaking), when there's a perfectly viable candidate like miyagi who has such an enormous head start? He's already got a three-box lead on fabfunk.

Yeah. Fabfunk is officially out, and Fleed is annoyingly fake.

Miyagi-san stopped posting, much to our chagrin, but he lurks and he's still an asshole.

If we needed a 4th choice, Smeagol could have been great.

The unnerving grasp is nothing that couldn't be obtained by looking shit up on Wikipedia. If there's one thing that site has in abundance, it's inordinately long articles about Gobots and shit.

I'm convinced that if Fleed isn't a fake, he's scary. Goddamn scary. If someone so dumb and with zero social skills can live long enough to post, he must be some sort of legendary, miraculous Darwin bastardization that can...not...be...stopped. Like the Chupacabra or Corey Haim.

It's exactly that sort of dedication to craft that makes me believe Fleed is the pseudonym of a long-existing Chewer. If I had to guess, it's a Chewer who is diametrically opposite to the characteristics represented by Fleed... and has way too much time on his or her hands.

Yeah, that occurred to me, too, but even using Wikipedia to the degree that most socially well-adjusted beings would have to to pull off the fleed thing exhibits a pretty strong commitment to persona-crafting.

Incidentally, the terrifying fact that there are inordinately long Wikipedia articles about Gobots shows that there are real-life dukefleeds in the world.

Scientifically, Miyagi is the optimal target for this kind of operation, but I'm afraid he's too accustomed to this kind of rough treatment. From an entertainment perspective, I think we may actually be able to put Smeagol in the hospital with a concerted effort.

gravedigger, they are masters at trickery and annoying to their enemies. The movie is not the best movie of the summer, but the best movie of the century, unless a new Battlestar Galactica movie is made using the template of Glen A. Larson's original series, which is infinitely better than the Sci-Fi Channel remake. Starbuck is not a girl!

With a concerted effort, this wouldn't be that much of a problem. After all, any single post would be subject to neg-repping by as many chewers who care to take part in this experiment. Also, he may not post much (at all?) anymore, but there's a long backlog of dumb miyagi posts to rep.

But there's the problem of visibility. Without a new supply of stupid miyagi posts, it would be easy to forget about him while you give out the 20 rep points necessary to neg rep him again.

It's too bad that "Movies you alone hate" thread slowed down. That was fruitful ground to plant your red boxes of rage and watch them blossom into limp, retaliatory neutral gray flowers. The best I received included a sassy little memo that read: "Not kidding. Not being sarcastic. Get Fucked."

If the experiment is simply that of seeing how many red boxes one poster can have, then miyagi is the obvious choice as he has a considerable head start. If, however, it's going to be some sort of dogpile, then fleed needs to be lured in here, stat.

Despite some of the Miyagi write-ins, it looks like Fleed gets the honors. Let's spend the next 24 hours unloading a salvo of red boxes the likes of which not even God himself could imagine. Dole out some rep to other chewers to reload and hit him again. Our red boxes will blot out the sun.
