I know Penny Arcade has been mentioned but this comic makes me laugh to the point of crying virtually every time I see it. Every fucking time.

Man, I am now officially fucking addicted to PBF.

Bear Police. It all goes back to Bear Police for me. That bear is just so happy to be braining that kid.

I would like to announce that Ctrl-Alt-Del fucking blows. It feels like Gamestop employees write for it.

It doesn't compare to this shitty comic, which regularly appears on IGN.

DIGITALPIMPONLINE.COM has some good stuff. Most chewers would probly appreciate Joe Loves Crappy Movies.

Goddamn, you guys. Penny Arcade is Satan's Cock of webcomics, don't fall in!

Fuck that, I don't understand anyone's gripe with PA. Just don't get it.

As for PBF - the fucking all-seeing-eye, "Proceed" made me cry. That's the only printed joke besides the PA I posted earlier, to ever make me tear up with laughter.

I find I enjoy the news posts of Penny Arcade more then the actually comics. They're not the bastion of shit some would have you believe but it is pretty generic 'gamer' humour.

I can agree that the post's often outshine the comics and that their best humor is when they tackle something other than games.

I continue to be amazed that people still visit vgcats.com and get some enjoyment out of it. The amount of unfunny, insipid and downright moronic cartoons I've been forwarded from that site is unbelievable.

HAY YOU GUYS REMEMBER [Videogame]? NOW IT SWEARS AND POOPS! or WACKY VIOLENCE! Ugh.

Other comics I'm surprised to find still have readers (and people who I thought had better taste, who I USED TO TRUST, MAN keep forwarding them to me)

User Friendly - seriously almost ten years of MORE LIKE MICRO$QUASH WINDOZE humor and awful art.

Sluggy Freelance - the Patient Zero of the convoluted "wacky joke comic about some wacky guys and hot sassy gals who tell it like it is and a huggable talking creature or zany robot that is ANGRY and EDGY towards people and things or maybe wants to take over the world and hangs out with them for no reason and then suddenly they go on dramatic adventures and someone dies and big important stuff happens and secrets are revealed and someone is The Chosen One or was abused as a child or something" type comic syndrome i.e. attempting serious storylines at the same time as nonsensical parody storylines and failing miserably.

Ctrl+Alt+Del - not only has the Sarcastic Guy/Wacky Guy/Hot Sassy Girl/Zany Mascot character lineup, not only has OVER THE TOP VIOLENCE WHICH IS ALWAYS FUNNY RIGHT PEOPLE?, not only has Super Dramatic Storylines that revolve around silly one-note gag-type stuff being taken seriously all of a sudden, it has OMG WACKY ZANY RANDOMNESS HUMOR of the most forced kind. "MY SPORK OF DOOM! BEWARE!" "NO MY NINJA CHEESE IS EATING MY EYEBROWS! MY FLAPJACKS SWOON WITH EXCITEMENT!"

This randomness also infests the loathsome VG Cats as well.

If anyone even thinks of starting up a webcomic that features some "I'm a cute animal but I am sarcastic/violent/RANDOM CHOCOLATE PIRATE SPORK" character or characters basically should throw themselves down a well.

Holy shit.

I agree with you, but it sounds like a particular archetype raped your mom.

Add MegaTokyo to that list, as well.

Transmission X - a wide variety of comic strips, all drawn by talented, driven folks, Cameron (The Other Side) Stewart among them.

Here's something that when you see it, you can't unsee it. Aoi House, another terrible faux-manga webcomic that made it to print. Two college dorks end up living with a bunch of college girls or something, eh whatever the important thing is it's crap.

It's amazing in that the creators have managed to make something almost indistinguishable from the sort of miserable "harem comedy" hackwork straight outta Japan. To be read if you're in a good mood and no longer want to be in that good mood.

Enough hate, however.

Now I'ma show some love, or at least mild liking

A more than decent fantasy comic: The Curious Adventures of Aldus Maycombe

Templar, Arizona A character driven series set in an Arizona that isn't quite the Arizona we know. The art is...well, it's pretty unique, in a good way.

I know there were some PBF fans in here, so you should check out the photos from the short film shoot inspired by one of the comics (the mime assassination).

Not sure when the film will be done, but everyone involved are good friends of mine so I'll let you know.
