What?

I'll speak more clearly...Fascism is a right-wing form of government. Calling a liberal a fascist would be like me calling you a conservative communist...it doesn't make any sense. (Well, you can have a conservative communist by relative standards, but that's not really the point...)

Second, literally: What time is it over there?
Time is irrelevant because thanks to me you have time.

Guys, we CAN'T give up Iraq because then we won't get seven bonus armies every turn! You know how hard it is to keep Asia!?

We really should get witchesbrew and fleed together. Then they can create a troll family and raise troll children so we have someone else to feed.

Silly one.
Please define over "there", because I have a hard time believing that you're posting from Iraq, unless you're a part of an elite team of black ops designed to demoralize enemy troops by posting shitty poems that make fun of them over the internet.

...back to discussing the actual topic.

This sort of shit is the exact same reason why impeachment proceedings should have continued against Nixon even after he resigned. Because he wasn't, Bush can act in the same bullying extra-constitutional manner and rightly believe he can get away with it. And because the people that bombed and killed millions of civilians, caused an unimaginable amount of damage in the region, and whose mistakes are still being felt (thousands of children in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia have stepped on land mines left by American soldiers and many still suffer the effects of American use of chemical weapons to this day), didn't themselves get prosecuted for their crimes and immense harm they caused, idiots like Bush will always try to cover up the truth of what actually happened there.

Who says Hannity doesn't have a mental impairment?

I will attempt to engage our argumentative 'conservative' (I can't really say if that's a legitimate descriptor because blind support for the War in Iraq does not necessarily make you a conservative.

This article was written by 6 serving soldiers in the 82nd Airborne. They were there. Here is their honest assessment. One of these authors, shortly after writing this piece, was shot in the head by an insurgent. Feel free to dismiss everyone here, but I don't think you can dismiss what these gentlemen have to say.

More on topic: everyone else should read it too.

Zhukov, thank you for posting that. And, yes, everyone should read it.

What do these people know? In a couple of decades, when you'll be in a burka and forbidden from reading in public you'll regret sabotaging the War On Terror with your defeatist attitude.

stelios, thank you for posting that. And, yes, everyone should read it.

If by saying darfur is the good fight, then Iraq must be the GREATEST. FIGHT. EVER.

Damn, I didn't know that people could have a steady diet of Party-line jingoism.

If it weren't for people like witchesbrew, you'd all be posting in Arabic right now.
I AM posting in Arabic. I just use a super-secret terrorist post-translator that makes everything come out in English, so I can fool those red-blooded patriot message board posters into thinking I'm an American. You people have no idea how close we are to taking over your country. Seriously, look behind you RIGHT NOW!

BOO!

If it weren't for that ruggedly handsome warrior-poet George Bush we'd have conquered you infidels years ago!

Did anyone slip it to W that the term "killing fields" is associated with Cambodia, and that the Vietnamese were the ones that ended that? Probably not.

Real men write history, they don't read about it.

Filthy pinko.

Anyway, yeah, Fleed's posts make sense, if only in a stupid way. I'm never puzzled as to the meaning. With witchesbrew here, I'm much more inclined to believe Copperlocke's back. So Copper, how is your dog?

Republicans have robbed me of the ability to speak German, Russian, and now Arabic, damn them. I'd love to speak Arabic. Have you ever heard someone cursed out in Arabic? It's something else. Better than German, even.
I want to learn Arabic if only to enhance my enjoyment of Not Without My Daughter.

ETA: I love that movie to the point where I'm still mad at Molina in Spider Man for what he did to Sally Field in NWMD. UNFORGIVABLE what he did to that poor woman. Am I right, sisters?

I had a friend in college who played on the tennis team whose grandmother was Iranian (although he looked like a chunky, long-haired Andy Roddick) and he would sometimes curse in Arabic on the court. He got warned one time by a line judge, and he said, "How do you I was cursing?" to which the line judge responded, "It sounded bad, whatever you said."

PINKO!
Nothing's better than German. Didn't history teach you anything?*

Would love to read that article, if I could get to it. Can we get a few quotes for those of us who don't subscribe?

I have it on good authority that witchesbrew is a communications officer in Iraq. Skippy told me so.

*Real men rewrite history.
