Share your home theater specs!

I dunno if this kinda of thread has been made, but, I sure didn't find it.

What kind of home theater/TV setup do you have in your home? ALL of them!

Living room:

a) Sony KE-42M1 WEGA plasma TV
b) Sony DAV-FX100W Wireless Home Theater Dream System

Home office:

a) Toshiba MW20F52 20" Flat TV with DVD and VCR

By the way, I dunno if I'm crazy or not, but the picture quality on that little Toshiba is AMAZING. I actually find myself watching my new DVDs on that than in the living room.

Not to say that the quality on the KE-42M1 is bad, which it most certainly is not.

But I think having it a bit compressed makes it look a lot sharper.

Sanyo 30" WS CRT HDTV

Onkyo Upscan DVD player

Sony 5.1 DD and DTS receiver that I have had for a few years.

Thinking of getting a bigger LCD display(37") but I dunno about those blacks.

I have a Samsung 30" widescreen HD TV. Not LCD or plasma. The old style, two feet thick. It displays 1080i, and through the component input, looks pretty darn spiffy. It will do the job until I get a proper projector/screen set up in a home I actually own.

I have been watching more films on my current set this weekend and I think I will just stick with this for a bit longer. It really has a nice picture and I have it fine tuned just right. The new release of Yojimbo was amazing on it.

Thats because CRT's are still better, mainly due the fact they have 50 years of engineering put into them and don't have fixed pixels pixels.
