The last bit in the trailer features an instrumental that showed up in a bunch of 90's trailers- I remember it from The Matrix, specifically. What is that piece?

The High Tension teaser with Sonic Youth's cover of "Superstar" makes the movie look great (and it kind of is, except for the completely retarded twist at the end).

Children of Men, which uses some amazing music from Sigur Ros.

Some more greats...

After Hours, Magnolia, and, naturally, Dr. Strangelove, all have great trailers. I like when they treat trailers more like short films than promotional items. Strangelove is doubly interesting considering so many trailers from it's era, and really through the 70s, make a huge effort to "sell" the film, repeating the title ad nauseam and explaining virtually the entire plot.

Anyone know where I can find a trailer for The Hunger? Youtube only seems to have the first few minutes, which I love, though the quality that's uploaded is pretty shitty.

For kicks, my fav scene from After Hours.

I'd like to know too. I actually thought it was part of The Matrix's score...

Does anyone have a link to the Matrix trailer you're talking about? If I'm thinking of the right trailer, wasn't it a piece called "Eyes of Truth" or something like that?

EDIT: Thinking about it a little more, I guess you weren't talking about the piece that ends the trailer. I'm found the trailer and am about to watch it now. I'll try to be some help.

EDIT2: Here's what Soundtrack.net lists for the theatrical trailer.

* THEATRICAL TRAILER Alien 3 (1992) - Elliot Goldenthal
* Romeo + Juliet (1996) - Craig Armstrong
* "Body Bags" - Atmosphere Music
* "Horrible Wind" - Pfeifer Broz. Music
* "Nostromus" - Immediate Music
* "Eliminator" - Brand X Music
* "Beal's Con Theory" - John Beal
* "The Eyes of Truth" - Enigma
* "(Can't You) Trip Like I Do" - Filter and The Crystal Method

Whoa... that thing used a lot more different pieces than I thought it did.
