That horrible pop song and the awesome track, Off the Grid, from the Beastie Boys new instrumental album both came to my mind originally when I read this thread. There's the polar opposites with hand-clapping.

I was all ready to vote never and then I remembered Citizens of Tomorrow by Tokyo Police Club. I clap along to that goodness like I was a cymbal clanking wind up monkey in a Stephen King novella.

Also, I second Ripoll on the Close to Me gay wagon.

I have to admit playing along with the handclaps in "Take the Money and Run" and "My Best Friend's Girl". I enjoy it, but I have to admit it's a bit silly.
