Woodcock ripoff

I was driving around with a friend of mine and I noticed something about these posters of Mr. Woodcock (aka School for Scoundrels 2)

They look very similar, observe:

Looks like someone owes Trey Parker and Matt Stone some money.

Posters ripping each other off? FOR SHAME! Didn't CHUD cover this trend already?

But why the blue background? Is it supposed to be soothing or something? "This fall, you'll laugh... pleasantly!" I would think they'd do a bright red background to illustrate that Billy Bob Thornton is the devil. Get that goth crowd.

I imagine there's been a thread on this before I just don't remember there being one recently? I'm probably wrong but I don't spend my day remembering all of the threads out of there.

The blue enhances the fuckitness of the overall design. The designer probably had fifteen of these to do that day and his curly fries were getting cold.

My big problem with the cover is that Susan Sarandon is in the picture. Which means she's in the movie. Which means one of my favorite actresses on this planet is doing the movie equivalent of crapping your pants in public. And that's not a good look for anyone.

How's this for a poster ripoff.

That's the actual poster for a Chinese film called Make Money or Love.

Well, at least she's still working. Not to worry, Lisa, I'm sure she'll do something of "Dead Man Walking" or "Lorenzo's Oil" quality again soon. I hope. :/

Those Chinese can sure bootleg anything.

Hey, maybe they have a Batman Begins bootleg with a decent third act for Devin!

What is on the Chinese Robin Williams' shoe?
Condom. I thought it was a shoe brand at first but no. Just a very sticky condom apparently.
