Thermals "The Body, The Blood, The Machine"

I searched for a thread about this, found only a few mentions. I've been listening to this more and more lately, even though I got it a while back......wondering how many other good Christian religious folk are out there.

I could listen to "St. Rosa and the Swallows" for days. And I still get chills when his voice kinda cracks in "An Ear For Baby" when he sings "Good luck gettin' God on the phone!"...

Too bad their other albums suck.

"The Body, The Blood, The Machine" is one of my favorite albums from last year, and The Thermals is the first band I think of when considering current punk rock.

However, I highly disagree with you about their first two albums, especially "Fuckin' A", which I find to be nearly as good as TBTBTM.

I can't tell if what you're saying is sarcastic or not, so I'm just going to throw this out: You do realize that the album is critical of religion, right?

haha, yes. I was being sarcastic. I love how critical it is of religion.

Though, not about their other albums. I'll have to give Fuckin' A another listen, but I couldn't get into them.

They put on a kick-ass live show if you ever get to see them, too.
