I have gone on record as a big fan of the 06 Horrorfest, and I've said on more than one occasion that it was more for the experience of being in a theatre full of like minded maniacs for an entire weekend than for the films themselves. None of them was destined to become a classic. However, of the 8 I saw (I skipped the Snoop Dogg production), Wicked Little Things was one of my 2 favorites. I ended up buying it as soon as it came out (along w/ my favorite of the bunch, Penny Dreadful). Kev makes some good points about flaws in the film that I never saw (one reason him and Chris review the movies and I do the books). But even w/ the film's warts revealed, I liked it as a sort of brain candy. Ya gotta love child zombies wielding mining implements. It was also the only horrorfest film besides Dark Ride w/ any gore to speak of, and WLT's was probably better. That scores it a point or 2 in my book. To each their own.
