Hypothetical Comic Books Based On Movies

Pardon me, but I would read the shit out of the four color adventures of Harry Lockhart and Gay Perry in "L.A.P.I.". Could someone, maybe IDW, make this happen?

You'd need one helluva dialog specialist to pull that off... Bendis, maybe... Matt Fraction... Jeff Parker... actually, Remender might be a good choice, and he's not under contract to anyone.

Most TV/movie properties don't lend themselves to comic adaptation very well. I suppose if I could pick one, it'd be The Avengers (no, not those Avengers) with Mike Carey writing and John Burns on art. But it wouldn't be half as good as the show.

For a film property, I'll take Battle Beyond the Stars, by Warren Ellis and Mitch Breitweiser.

TRAILER PARK BOYS would make for a brilliant comic book, with its well developed characters and its thorough and yet frequently changed or ignored continuity... even though the most recent season wasn't nearly up to the earlier ones. Still, like THE SIMPSONS, a subpar season of TRAILER PARK BOYS is better than 95% of everything else out there.

Unbreakable. Said it before, will say it again.

Yes, the world needs even more twelve issue story arcs where nothing fucking happens.

Perhaps a 4 issue miniseries that bridges the gap between between Kirsten Dunst's teeth?
