Buying Games at Radioshack

Looks like Radioshack will now be the new place to hit up for a Nintendo Wii.

Radioshack to sell games and systems

I welcome more options to buy my games from.. but it sounds like they will only carry major releases.

Oh, that fellow at Radio Shack said I was mad! Well, who's mad now?!

Sorry. Carry on.

Great, the 20 minute interrogation process required to purchase batteries will now be carried over to purchasing video games and equipment.

Has anyone been to Radio Shack recently? They're updating the look of their stores. Where once they were dark, dungeon-esque havens for wire, adapter, and techno-dongle nerds, now they're like pastel-y, flashy nightclubs with video games and candy. I half expected a bouncer to turn me away because I was wearing a t-shirt with a huge oil stain on it (I was working in the backyard at the time).

You were working in the backyard while visiting Radio Shack?

At least they won't be hitting me up for one so they can get their commission every damn time I walk in there these days.

All our Radio Shack stores are called "The Source" now, but I still call them Radio Shack out of habit.

I have a Radio Shack in my backyard. It's actually just an old shack with an AM radio in it, though. I guess I should have mentioned all of that in my first post.

"Backyard" is a euphemism.
