Boris will rock stateside!

Great news for rock fans, J-rock metal fans and anyone who wants to see a killer band from Japan..

Boris will start touring in Chicago and the east coast starting Sept 30th.

If I had time to go see a concert, I'd be hitting up the Cat's Cradle on Oct 24th.

This should be a great show.


ATL peoples should definately check this out.

Boris is the tits. That album they did with Sunn0))) was one of my favorites from last year. I really hope to catch one of these shows.

Jesus, and I just noticed they're playing with Kurihara from Ghost. That guy is a fucking amazing guitar player. He rips the shit out of sound.

Yeah, I've been looking forward to the Athens and ATL shows for months. We also get Melvins/Big Business and Jesu/Wolves In The Throne Room right around the same time. Fucking rock.

(The poster for the Athens/ATL Boris shows is cool, too. There are a couple up at the Earl.)

Melvins/Big Business was last night here. Prepare to be blown away. Last time I saw Wolves they took a long time to tune up and then proceeded to sound like shit. I was shit-faced but they sounded off. I'm sure it was an off night.

I've seen Melvins/BB before. (A year ago with David Yow at Whirlyball.) So I know what to expect there.

Most excited about Jesu, actually, since I've never seen Justin Broadrick play. And yes, I understand the potential for disappointment there.

Yeah, we have Boris playing here in a small bar, then Melvins/Big Business a couple of days later. Saw Boris back in March at SXSW. Fucking awesome.
