Phil Collins is a spokesman for Minoxidil-doped chocolate?

Still love the Montana Meth Project ads by Aronofsky. Now there's some fucked up shit.

That was great. I can appreciate and get behind a company that puts together an ad like that and says the ad was to make you smile and feel happy (and that's what their product is like). Kudos to them.

I just sent Gorilla Collins to friends, absolutely brilliant. Also, I really want that beautiful vintage fender amp in the background.

Just from the glimpse we got, I'd almost swear that's an old Ampeg head on top of the Fender cab. Looked like a V-4, but I wouldn't bet the farm on it. Used to use one of those on tour, and there's no Fender with that front panel design that I know of.

Sorry....guitar nerd.

Oh...and the monkey there was pretty cool. Top marks.

I think you're right. The cab looks almost exactly like mine, which is a Fender Showman 4x12. My amp is a cybertwin, which Fender made to resemble their older heads, at least in the cloth portion, but I think it does say Ampeg on the one in the video.
Guitar nerding done (for now).

I don't know what they're selling, but their commercial is a kick in the gut:

I believe they're selling Thai Life Insurance.

Most effectively, I might add.

Holy Christ that was rough.

That ad is going to haunt me for a while.

They have one new customer based off of that ad. I just purchased a life insurance policy that pays my loved ones if I suffer a creepy death by a ghost girl who only I can see. It pays double if I die in an elevator or my death involves water, phones or a long dead mystery sister.

It's a specialized policy, but one can never be too safe.

I just made all the girls at my work start crying at the same time. Hooray me!

You talk funny campaigns. I always enjoyed the Bud Light "Real Men of Genius" radio ads. Great stuff. It does not however encourage me to drink Bud Light unless I'm already drunk enough not to care.

That Phil Collins Gorilla makes me smile everytime I see it on TV, on the opposite end of the spectrum. For about a year we in Britain had to endure these adverts in every commercial break.

Agreed, on both. That second one was a little too harmy-to-animals for my taste.

Oh my God, that guinea pig one is terrible. I laughed and hated it all at once.

Powerthirst!

EDIT: I sent an IM to my wife to show her that Thai Life Insurance one and she responded with "WTF R U DOING TO YOUR PMSing WIFE?"

Hilarious.

EDIT 2: 5000th post!
