Has anyone heard of this vitamin product?

Reliv International?

They sell Reliv which is pretty much a vitamin supplement that many...many..many people claim is the equivalent of the coming of god or something. I exaggerate, but people keep saying it's great stuff. They get their products out through network marketing, which is sorta sketchy, but these people have such strong testimonials that I have to ask if any of you have tried the product.

Is it any good or is it overpriced centrum? They claim that most vitamin pills just go through your system and only maybe 15 to 20% get through your body while their product in a powder form gets up to 97% or something.

I've been looking online and I keep finding way more good than bad. I'm not sure what to make of that. My friend's parents are also distributors and they keep pushing the product on me like crack cocaine. You can tell they reaaally believe in it.

Curious. I've been looking for a good vitamin product.

Between us we make 2/3's of a commercial. Someone with a testimonial please come complete the puzzle!

Tell us more!

It sounds like a pyramid scheme. Do they actually have any sort of medical data to back up their claims?

Well they don't claim it does anything more than provide adequate vitamins for your body and help your body function like it's supposed to. It's the distributors that tell you their personal experiences and tell you about other people with postive experiences with the product. Usually it's always about a chronic back pain or some pain that went away after a few months of using it or how their hair became thicker or their dry eyes went away and all these little improvements they've felt and how they have more energy etc. My mom had palsy of the face and my friend's dad found another lady in the network who had it and after a few months of using the product it improved greatly. I mean they have testimonials about everything except cancer. It's weird, but my friend's dad is the kind of person that wouldn't lie. I think.

As for the whole pyramid scheme, apparently they're in NASDAQ so there must me some legitimacy to the network marketing thing they have even though it sounds just like every other pyramid scheme out there. But everywhere I go I hear something positive and I'm thinking...are they being honest or are they embellishing to advertise and make money. Are they part of the Reliv distribution network? People have such confidence in it, it feels like I'm in Fight Club. Who's in on it? Who's not?

No doubt the stuff is good vitamins, but I wouldn't be surprised if those people have the placebo effect in full gear.

That should answer most of your questions.

I wouldn't be surprised either.

A lot of those companies have decent stuff. They'll even tell you that their products have been clinically tested, but probably in their own clinics. It's overpriced stuff you can find at GNC or Vitamin World, but they back it up with testimonials to sell their products to justify the higher prices.

Good work. Has anybody found any information on if the vitamins themselves are decent?

Though they probably are good stuff just overpriced.
