This is the best collection I have. It's just unmatchable.

Agreed. Hit after hit.

When I only want the "hits", HOT ROCKS does the job just fine, but this is an irresistible set.

I'm in my late 20's and I learned to appreciate exile on main earlier. But I got "tired" of part of the HOT ROCKS track list due to over exposition (around the same time they where releasing Bridges etc). This is the only RS's stuff BTW, now I just love songs like Tell Me or 19th Nervous Breakdown...

The thing is, almost every song on every one of those albums from which those songs are pulled is great. But yeah, that's a good album.

Yep, I will collect most of them as soon as I can.
I just needed some RS fix. As I was listening to it, I shared some thoughts. The way that this list is so "solid" is amazing.

Feral, go for broke and become familiar with the following:

AFTERMATH (U.S. version)
BEGGARS BANQUET
LET IT BLEED
STICKY FINGERS
EXILE ON MAIN STREET
SOME GIRLS
TATTOO YOU

LET IT BLEED (my fave Stones album), STICKY FINGERS, and SOME GIRLS seem to get the most attention from me.

They have a lot of great albums, but SOME GIRLS and GOAT'S HEAD SOUP are my favorite RS underdogs.

Yeah, they do, and I'd recommend other Stones albums, but only after diving into their essentials.

GOATS HEAD SOUP would fall into the "very good Stones album" category, and I have to say that album has some of their most awesome rockers ('Dancing With Mr. D.', 'Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker)', 'Star Star').

Some Girls and Hot Rocks are my two favorite Stones albums, and always have been. Most of what I have on my iPod is really early stuff, though. If I don't feel like listening to a certain song, I'll fast forward past it, but I never ever FF past "She's a Rainbow" and "Out of Time".

I digitized all my Stones albums a couple months ago, and I was surprised how much good stuff there is on Goat's Head Soup. Not necessarily the great Stones songs, but it's some really interesting stuff. And I like how they save the most straight-up rocker for the last track.
