Maybe after referencing that Lois' dad and Peter's doctor both have the same voice alluded to that possibly coming true.

Show last night had some funny parts. The bit with Joe in the dojo was pretty funny. And Joe telling his wife to "keep the kid" was kind of funny.

Everything involving Joe last night made me laugh my ass off. Watching Joe beat the shit out of the other guys made the show for me.

The Jackee' scene made me laugh the hardest. "A HAMMOCK of cake?!"

The final fight in the living room was excellent, too, though.

Both those scenes were the only things I found worth while. The Final Fight was so very good.

The fight scene and "I WANNA TALK ABOUT VAGINAS!" were the best parts.

So who wants to see all of the "Stewie Kills Lois" episode that's comming up next week. The "Best of Both Worlds" ending is pretty great.

'Family Guy' spinoff in works
By Kimberly Nordyke and Nellie Andreeva
Feb 29, 2008

"Family Guy's" Cleveland Brown might be getting his own show.

Fox and 20th Century Fox TV are developing a spinoff from its hit animated series centered on Peter Griffin's bathtub-accident-prone neighbor, sources said.

The project, tentatively titled "Cleveland," is being written by "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane, Mike Henry -- who voices Cleveland and serves as writer-producer on the series -- and "The Simpsons" alum Rich Appel, executive producer/showrunner on MacFarlane's other animated comedy for Fox, "American Dad."

Cleveland, who plays off black stereotypes, is the most levelheaded among Griffin's trio of friends.

Once canceled by Fox, "Family Guy" triumphantly returned on the network in 2005. It is Fox's top-rated comedy and has grown into a $1 billion franchise with red-hot DVD and merchandise sales.

Fox brass had made it a priority to find another hit animated comedy to complement its Sunday comedy lineup. It has several cartoons in the works, including an animated version of its 2003 short-lived live-action comedy "The Pitts," from "Simpsons" veteran Mike Scully; "Relative Insanity," executive produced by Jack Black; and "Mothballs," from "Drawn Together" creators Matt Silverstein and Dave Jeser.

In addition to "Cleveland," Fox and 20th TV also are developing a spinoff of the drama series "Prison Break," set at a female prison.

MacFarlane and Appel are repped by Endeavor.

I've having visions of when Fox was seriously trying to champion for a Simpsons spin-off back in the mid-90s. This thing might not even get picked up for all we know.

Besides...it couldn't be any worse than American Dad...right?

So Seth Mcfarlane was on Countdown with Keith Olberman a couple of days ago and mentioned the Empire Strikes Back would be airing soon. Of Course he didn't give a specific date. Anyone know when its going to air? I'm guessing May sweeps?

Probably the only thing that interests me about Family Guy anymore.

I read the other day that Stewie was going to be in a crossover on an episode of Bones later this season. I have no idea how thats supposed to work but it sounds pretty terrible and its disappointing to see a good show(Bones, not FM) stoop that low for a ratings gimmick.

Boreanaz's character apparently sees him after some kind of head injury. It's supposedly an actual condition where people see cartoon characters.

I'm finding these new batches of episodes tend to be funnier in the beginning when they're being random, then fall apart once the actual plot kicks in.

Have you been watching American Dad recently? It's actually gotten pretty good. It seems as if Seth MacFarlane is putting most of his mental energy into making American Dad a coherent, entertaining show, and just keeps Family Guy to serve as a dumping ground for random pop-culture gags.

I'm not alone either; over on avclub.com American Dad will consistently get the highest grades out of all the animated shows in the Fox lineup.

They also said they've gotten the go-ahead for ROTJ as well.

Very funny ep. this past week with a Star Trek Next Gen. appearance. I know they are a lot of Family Guy dissenters out there, but as someone who is fairly new to the show, I think most of the new eps. are funny as hell.
