Sounds a bit like "Night Junkies" to me. Up to and including the sound mix which left the dialogue mostly unintelligible at certain points.

Thanks for the warning, Chris. I'll be avoiding this one (vampire flicks always call to me, much like the cheesy shark movies do).

Dead accurate review Chris. This was the K-Mart knockoff version of "Near Dark".

The only thing worthwhile were the foreign vampire sisters who didn't get nearly enough girl-on-girl play.

Thanks, Surge. I kinda forgot about the twins when writing the review. I just remember they kinda bugged me, because they never frigging stopped movie. Every scene they were in, they were moving in this ridiculous, over-the-top manner. They were like when a video game character is at rest, and the designers have to make them bob up and down or do something else cute. It was so distracting.

They WERE pretty friggin' hot, though. Just wish they hadn't been covered in filth for the majority of the movie.

I love that infomercial for the lightweight vacuum sweeper thingy.

Mark Altman? The Cinescape guy? Writer/Producer of the decent Free Enterprise and the abysmal House of the Dead? This guy has quite the "range".

Their constant hyper-kinetic movements made them the tweakers (Methamphetamine addicts) of the bunch. I thought for a bit they were going to characterize each member of the vampire tribe as a different type of drug addict to go along with their "Just say No to Drugs" theme, but that was my alcohol-laden brain being far more clever than the writers.

Lesbian vampire sisters who can't speak english in far more erotic scenes could have made this a late night Cinemax classic though.

That's the guy. He also had a hand in The Darkroom, so needless to say, I'm not a fan of the guy.
