I can dmit to have seen the three out of the first four films on the list, and I now have a real interest in watching number five (chewers alert: it has Billy Zane? that cant be right).
On a separate note, Im considering buying "Red Dawn" on dvd...is that a bad sign?

Red Dawn is not not propaganda. It is a documentary that made it's way here from an alternate timeline.

Actually, I did have one problem with Dawn. Some Ruskies are just hanging out, laughing, and taking some vacation pictures when the Wolverines show up and fuck them up good just to prove they can.

Not cool, Swayze.

And I have to be honest...If you're the kind of person that worries what people think about you owning Red Dawn you probably shouldn't own it. I don't particularly care. My copy is sitting on a shelf next to Best of the Best 2.

I didn't know Cracked uses 4-letter words these days.

Eh, its more of a "I saw it once when I was a kid" thing, actually...Im the guy who has Predator and Predator 2 as bookends to a criterion edition of "Seven Samurai" (I really, really need to put some order on that shelf).
I think I will get that special edition and be done with it, even if it kills a bit of the memory away.

Valley of the Wolves: Iraq sounds like the best movie ever made.

Cracked still exists?

Aw, I was hoping to see Rambo III on that list. Wherein John Rambo fights for those brave men who would soon become Al-Quaeda. "This film is dedicated to the gallant people of Afghanistan."

they failed to mention that Gary Busey is the jewish-american doctor that harvest organs from Iraqui prisioners for black market transplants.
Once again, Busey tops himself in terms of insanity.

Around 2005, they got the idea to relaunch the magazine, but to drop the Mad-esque format and try and make it more like a Maxim or FHM with a humor basis. They made a big deal out of it, but the first issue kept getting delayed and when it finally hit it hit with a resounding thud.

The new incarnation lasted all of three issues before folding shop.

They'd put a lot of time and money into the relaunch, however, and decided to move what remained of the "Maxim Cracked" over to the already existing website, and turning it into an online prescence.

Good to see "Shooter" up there.

So if Cracked still exists, how come I can't find the occasional issue of Crazy?

Huh. Oh well, it was always a second-rate MAD anyway.

I wonder what it feels like to be a writer for the Cracked website.

I figure the journalists of Hustler look down on them and laugh.

I was thinking that every morning you have to think deep and hard about choosing between the gun or the bottle of scotch.

Or why did you pass up the offer to become a stringer for High Times?
