My article is featured on yahoo's homepage!

I'm flipping out. I wrote an article on How Road Rage Works, and today it is one of the featured news items on Yahoo's homepage. That's a pretty big deal in my office.

I've written dozens of articles this year, but this is the first time one of them has been singled out by a major player like Yahoo.

Welldone.

One thing I see often is "double foot driving". That's where they use their left food for the break and the right foot for the gas. I'm pretty sure this is the cause of many accidents. And those that you hear where the person thought they stepped on the break but instead hit the accelerator.

Yeah, I'm a staff writer at the site. I've been working here since February. It's a great gig.

I see that my article has cycled off of Yahoo already, but while it was up we had a massive jump in traffic, so my bosses are happy.

Wow, I literally JUST got done reading that article when I popped over to CHUD and clicked on this thread. My girlfriend exhibits all the classic signs of "road rage" (in all its forms) whenever she drives, so I am printing it out and showing it to her.

Congratulations, and, seriously, you may have just saved a few lives.

My wife also engages in a lot of aggressive driving techniques, though she's improved drastically over the last few years. Before I wrote the article I had to tell her that nothing in the piece was specifically about her, and that it was all based on research and not personal experience.

You had to have an inspiration, a muse.

I just wish Yahoo had featured either How Cthulhu Works or How the Necronomicon Works . . .
