I haven't seen this since I saw it in the original theatrical run. What's happening in that last pic in the review with the man standing over the bed?

She has a nightmare where her father is basically molesting her in the bed, and she breaks a vase on the nightstand and sticks it in his heart. Rather than dying, he starts laughing and squirting blood all over her face, making suggestive comments. It's pretty disturbing, actually.
